Detailed itinerary & Trip Notes 2009

DAY 1	Arrive Hanoi Depart Sydney/Arrive Hanoi and transfer to the hotel. You will meet your local guide and fellow participants.
Day 2	In Hanoi You tour around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Old Quarter with its 36 streets of 36 wares, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum.
Day 3	To Mai Chau-Trek to community project site Three hour scenic drive from Hanoi to Mai Chau. We lunch in a traditional slit house of the Thai people and then transfer to the community project site.
Day 4 -6	Community Project - Mai Chau During your stay at Van Village you will be helping to refurbish a kindergarten classroom for the young children of the village.
Day 7	To Hanoi and overnight train to Hue In the evening we will transfer to the railway station and board the Reunification Express train that will take us south, along the coast to Hue.
Day 8	In Hue We visit the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, take a boat ride up the Perfume River and tour the Citadel.
Day 9	Transfer to Hoi An and visit eye clinic Depart Hue and head towards Hoi An. Today we visit Dai Loc Eye Hospital.
Day 10	Hoi An Walking tour around historic Hoi An.
Day 11	In Hoi An Day at leisure in Hoi An.
Day 12	Fly to Phnom Phen Transfer to Danang Airport for a flight to Saigon and then onwards to Phnom Penh.
Day13	In Phnom Phen Explore the capital of Phnom Penh including the Royal Palace, National Museum & the Wat Phnom Pagoda.
Day 14	To Siem Reap-Visit eye clinic Transfer to Siem Reap via the Kampong Thom Eye Hospital before continuing to Siem Reap.
Day 15	At Angkor Temples Full day tour of the Angkor Complex; the most stunning temple complex in the world.
Day 16	At Angkor Temples Second day tour of the Angkor Complex.
Day 17	Trip Concludes Depart Siem Reap, fly to Sydney via Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 18	Arrive Sydney.
